Levenhuk Rainbow 2L Moonstone Microscope – quality glass optics, ergonomic design, and an excellent accessory kit. With Levenhuk Rainbow 2L Moonstone Microscope studying will become an adventure! Children will be able to explore the microcosm and conduct truly exciting experiments on their own – much more interesting than just reading abstruse textbooks. A kid will learn many new things about indoor plants and their structure, examine cat hair and learn its difference from human hair, observe a variety of microorganisms living in a drop of aquarium water, and many other exciting things.
Levenhuk Rainbow 2L microscopes produce 40x-400x magnification – just enough for children’s first biological research. Due to the combined (upper and lower) illumination, these microscopes are suitable for viewing transparent, semi-transparent, and opaque objects – the choice of microscope samples is only limited by a young researcher’s imagination! The microscopes feature lightweight, yet reliable bodies made of plastic. Each Levenhuk Rainbow 2L microscope comes with a Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit.
See them in action!
Stylish and attractive, Levenhuk Rainbow 2L Moonstone Microscope can turn even the most boring biology class into enthralling research. This microscope allows children to find out what things around them are made of, to study insects and plants, see whether yogurt really does contain living organisms, and many other interesting things. Levenhuk Rainbow 2L Moonstone comes with an experiment kit, which means that a young explorer can start using the microscope right away.
High-quality glass optics
All optical elements of the microscope are made of high-quality, highly transparent glass. In order to further increase light transmission, the lenses are covered with multilayer coating–that’s why produced images are so clear, crisp and contrast. The microscope is equipped with three objectives lenses, which allow for 40-400x magnification range. All you need to do to change the magnification is turn the revolving nosepiece.
The ability to observe transparent and non-transparent objects
In order to observe a sample, place it on the microscope’s stage and secure with the two convenient stage clips. If the sample is transparent, for example a thin slice of onion or mosquito wing, you need to turn on the lower illumination. If you want to study some opaque objects – coins, plant leaves or paper – don’t forget to turn on the upper illumination. And if you turn on both upper and lower sources of light, you can also observe semitransparent samples. Illumination brightness is adjustable, so you can easily set the level of illumination that works best for every sample.
Thought-out design
The microscope body is made of lightweight and at the same time sturdy plastic. Due to its small weight, the microscope is easily transportable and can be taken along to school or when visiting friends. The head is inclined at 45° for more comfortable observations. The device can be powered either through an electrical receptacle or by batteries, meaning it can be used not just at home and at school, but also outdoors.
